: Sirpa Lane (born Sirpa Salo on January 30, 1952, in Finland) was a Finnish actress known for her roles in European erotic films during the 1970s. Often regarded as a sex symbol, she became famous for starring in a number of controversial films, many of which were directed by the Spanish filmmaker Jesús Franco and the French director Walerian Borowczyk. Lane's breakout role came in Borowczyk's erotic fantasy film "La Bête" (1975), which became infamous for its explicit content.
